I am not an amateur tutor or an algorithmic platform. I am a professional French Teacher holding a Master’s degree in language education and an MBA.

I was looking for a 1:1 intensive French course and I am so happy I found Valerie. I’ve taken a lot French courses before and have not progressed beyond a certain level. With Valerie I’m truly understanding the why and the how rather than just the what and it’s made the lightbulb turn on in my head. I have used Valerie Bouland for both online and in person lessons. I’m at B1 hoping to go to B2. Valerie has been an excellent coach. She has a technique for post session quizzes which are very useful (and hard!). As well, she allows one to speak, providing helpful corrections afterward to allow you to develop your verbal skills. If you are looking for a French language teacher in Paris, look no further: Valerie is simply incredible. I have made so much progress during my three months studying with her during a long stay in the city. Valerie's methods are uniquely effective. I have studied at a variety of different language schools and classes - but Speed-Frenching helped me break through so many barriers and finally make certain grammar rules clear that have puzzled me for years. The best compliment I can give to Valerie is that Parisians have begun telling me, "Vous parlez bien français!" Lekcje z panią Valérie Bouland to jedna z najlepszych rzeczy, jakie mnie spotkały po przeprowadzce do Paryża. Styl prowadzenia kursu bardzo pomaga w szybkiej aklimatyzacji w nowym otoczeniu i pozwala rozpocząć rozmowy w prawdziwym życiu tak szybko, jak to tylko możliwe. Forma ćwiczeń domowych jest również dostosowana do ucznia i ogólnego sposobu prowadzenia kursu. Prowadząca jest niezmiennie uśmiechnięta, przyjazna i stymulująca do konwersacji. I tried Speed-Frenching because I am only in Paris for 5 months and I wanted to 'quickly' improve my conversational ability. I had some basic French. I enjoy working with Valérie and her method of question and response to simulate real-world conversations. She then corrects and explains in real-time. Her website provides lessons in the foundations of the language. After each class she also creates customized exercises that help reinforce what I've just learned. It works for my style of learning. I especially appreciate that she is relaxed and supportive, I never feel self-conscious (and I am wrong a lot!). There are so many options in Paris, I feel very lucky to have found Valérie.
